In the late 1800s, Sam Weinrib sold carpets and linoleum from a pushcart on Manhattan's Lower East Side. From this humble beginning, the Weinrib family built ABC Carpet & Home into one of the nation's premier home furnishings stores. It is the only home furnishings store in New York City that covers an entire block and offers merchandise made from environmentally friendly components from around the world.
